Live & Local Preview: The Vultures

We're heading to Limelight tonight to see local hip-hop crew The Vultures, who claim to be "feasting on rotting hip-hop." Those not cool with cannibalism can probably rest assured that's some kind of clever metaphor. The last time we saw them perform, they put on a high-energy show full of sci-fi-referencing stream-of-consciousness flows and dirty keyboard-driven beats, but they never stopped to gnaw the flesh of Humpty Hump. The Vultures will be joined by San Marcos noiseniks Attic Ted and San Antonio's own Ill Prospekt (you can read their recent L&L writeup here.)The show starts at 10 p.m., and admission is $5. 21+.
