San Antonio AIGA? Possibly?

Thanks to Facebook I found serious interest in an AIGA chapter for San Antonio. I missed the first meeting but soon jumped in on the second start up meeting last Saturday. In short, several designers in San Antonio have grown tired of having to go to Austin and Dallas for all the great AIGA membership perks. We need 20 working professionals to join with an AIGA membership and a $2,000 buy in for the chapter.

Tomorrow Swirl Studios will host the third AIGA San Antonio start up meeting. If you are available and will like to be active in the design community then please swing in. In this meeting we'll discuss the first event and fund raiser to raise that $2,000.

When: Thursday, February 11th, 6:30pm - 8pm
Where: Swirl Studios, 1114 S. St. Mary's St. #120
Why: So we don't have to go to Austin and Dallas for all the cool stuff
Who: You and other saavy designers
