Sure, I’m a bitch about nuclear, but where does the daughter of Minerva stand?

One of a dozen protesters lined up yesterday outside the Council's B Session discussion on a proposal to expand the South Texas Project nuclear complex.

Y’all have heard enough from me for one week (or at least la jeffa has) on atom-splittage. Besides, until CPS Energy quits suppressing the Jeremy Rifkin report, there’s really not much more to say.

Still, we couldn’t keep from issuing our genderfied plaudit of the week, our Big Balls Award, to one Kat Swift for asking the San Antonio City Council yesterday if there is anything contractually limiting CPS CEO Milton Lee from leaving the city to work for our nuke partner NRG Energy if and when he gets the deal done.

Kudos, kid. You’re the first to publicly demand an answer on this point (besides ourselves, of course, but paid media pundits are puny zucchini when weighed against empowered active citizenship).

So where does this daughter of Minerva stand on the proposed expansion of the South Texas Project nuclear complex? Let's find out, shall we?
