Bio: Perez is a 19-year-old political science student a Rockhurst University in Missouri and has run most of the campaign from out of town. Among other things, Perez says he would like to see a local Fair Tax system and hopes increased public transit could battle drunk driving. Instead of raising money, Perez says he’ll only rely on social networking to campaign.

Bud Little

Bio: A recently retired WOAI reporter, Bud Little spent 36 years covering City Hall. Little has been president of the Hills of Park North Neighborhood Association, President of Keep San Antonio Beautiful, and President of the Rose Society.

Carlton Soules

Bio: Carlton Soules has worked in the food brokerage industry, winning broker of the year awards from companies such as the J.M. Smucker Co. and Dole Packaged Foods, as well as sitting on advisory councils for these and other large food companies. Soules is currently an owner of a commercial property leasing company in District 10. He has served on numerous local boards, commissions, and committees over the years.
